This week on the blog I wanted to do something a little different! I get to meet so many interesting individuals through networking events, trade shows, pop-ups etc. and I wanted to start introducing them to you!
Our first feature will be Lisa Kiss. I met her at a networking and wellness event she held a couple months back. It was a perfect night to meet like-minded entrepreneurs, eat good food (thank you Every Golden Moment), get a reiki healing (courtesy of Soul to Sole Healing), and plan future collaborations (with Lilli Markle)!
Read on to find out how Lisa started her marketing agency and conscious lifestyle blog:
1. Introduction- Tell us a bit about yourself
- How did you start Lisa Kiss Creative?
I officially started Lisa Kiss Creative through the City of Hamilton's Summer Company Program. However, I started connecting with local businesses in Hamilton in 2017 through my blog and a lot of small business owners told me a knack for social media and marketing (which I studied at school). I put two and two together and took the plunge into starting Lisa Kiss Creative May 1st, 2018!
- What services do you provide to your clients?
I provide small, conscious businesses with marketing and consulting services such as social media strategy, account management, social media photography and graphics, content creation, blog writing, SEO, email marketing and digital marketing consulting.
- What kinds of businesses do you work with?
"Every opportunity to learn, grow and develop should be captured. Lisa Kiss Creative is not your typical marketing agency. I believe in building relationships first and doing great work second. I'm a firm believer in cultivating a life you love. I believe in getting in a good yoga practice (almost) every day and respecting a healthy work-life balance. I focus my time on clients, projects and collaborations that I'm passionate about. This allows me to bring my best work forward and create value for the people that want to work with me. A lover of all things marketing, my skills and services vary from social media, digital marketing, content creation, consulting, strategy and blogging. I believe that all brands have their own story to tell and should say it in a way that fits the brand, not the trends."
- What should we be on the lookout for? (Ex. Collaborations, pop-ups etc.)
This summer I'm planning three different kinds of workshops for small business to help them with marketing and social media; Facebook 101, Social Media Basics for Small Business and How to Utilize Instagram for your Business. I'm also planning on adding a shop component to my Blog, Kiss Collective very soon.
Thanks for taking the time to answer these questions Lisa!
Who do you think should be featured on the blog next?
