The Pure Upcycled Silk Avatar Collection is made from vintage pure silk saris, chosen and worn by women in the past to celebrate their lives. If you look very closely, you will see that the silks in this collection show some of the character of their previous incarnations through the appliqués that have been lovingly applied to bring new life to the fabric. This piece is a reminder that we are part of a collective journey to which we all add a little something.
This ethereal, long, open-front duster with detachable belt offers endless styling options. Layer it over jeans, dresses, or swimwear; try it forwards or backwards, as a dress or as a jacket. The sleeves end at the elbow for a cropped wrap jacket look when tied in the front. It's the perfect piece of slow fashion for women 5'4'' and taller; if your frame is shorter, simply add knots to the hem for a personalized fit. Its versatile design also allows you to wear the duster forwards or backwards, or even upside down!
