Felted Wool and Hand-Painted Leather Messenger Bag by Pepin Designs
A one-of-a-kind messenger bag by Québec designer Réjean Pépin.
This striking piece features a body made from felted wool finished with spattered grey paint, giving the surface depth, movement, and an expressive artistic quality.
The flap is crafted from exceptionally soft fuchsia lambskin and detailed with hand-painted grey dots. It is secured with a strip of black ostrich-printed leather, adding contrast and texture to the front of the bag. The closure is finished with a handmade leather button painted in chartreuse and amber.
The strap is made from richly textured pigskin, hand-painted with a mottled finish. A chartreuse base is layered with accents of watermelon, sky blue, and lavender, making the strap a standout design feature in its own right.
The base of the bag is constructed from satchel-coloured leather and trimmed with faux leather, a thoughtful choice that helps reduce additional weight while maintaining structure.
An interior pocket provides added storage and organization.
Designed for versatility, this bag can be worn crossbody or carried over one shoulder.
