This piece is crafted from wool twill in a soft sky blue tone, with a lightly textured surface that sits somewhere between twill and bouclé. The fabric offers warmth while maintaining a fluid drape across the body.
The cape is finished with performance fabric trim, including red detailing at the collar that is backed with polar fleece for comfort.
Leather buttonholes are cut from workshop leather scraps. The piece is accented with yellow cotton canvas reinforcement, reflecting the designer’s layered and resourceful approach to materials.
Red stitching throughout the garment echoes the collar detail and adds subtle contrast to the body of the coat.
The weight of the wool helps the piece sit naturally in place while still allowing movement.
