A one-of-a-kind coat by Québec designer Réjean Pépin.
This piece is crafted from textured wool in a neutral taupe tone that sits between grey and warm beige. The fabric reveals two subtle surfaces — one side showing the woven structure of the wool and the other slightly more tufted, adding depth and texture to the garment.
Grey cotton trim frames the coat and is accented with purple stitching, introducing small moments of colour within the neutral palette. Additional orange detailing appears in the exposed trim and around the pockets, providing contrast while maintaining the coat’s understated character.
Buttons are handmade by the designer from Fimo and paired with leather buttonholes cut from leather remnants.
The sleeves are intentionally cut long and may be folded to adjust the length if needed.
The silhouette offers generous room through the shoulders and body, allowing comfortable layering and ease of movement.
Fits comfortably as a size Large and may also accommodate a Medium or up to an Extra Large depending on button placement.
Neutral palette. Subtle colour accents.
Entirely unique — as with all of Pépin’s work.
Bust width (underarm to underarm laid flat): 31"
Hips width (laid flat): 28.5"
Total length (shoulder to hem): 34"
Sleeve length (approx.): 22"
Sleeve width (laid flat): 9"
Sleeve opening width (laid flat): 7.5"
Handmade in Quebec, Canada
All of Rejean Pepin's coats are handmade in his atelier in Quebec using new and rescued leather, wool and cotton. He also occasionally uses performance fabric for added weather protection.
