Orange Waxed Leather Messenger Bag by Pepin Designs
A one-of-a-kind messenger bag by Québec designer Réjean Pépin.
This distinctive piece is crafted from exceptionally soft orange waxed and hand-painted leather. The body is trimmed in black felted wool, creating contrast while adding softness and structure. The base is made from durable brown cow leather for added stability.
The defining feature of this bag is its remarkable flap construction. The interior side of the flap is lined in incredibly soft grey sheared muskrat. The exterior side is finished in yellow leather with hand-applied black and brown paint splatters, creating an expressive artistic surface.
The buttonhole is reinforced with black ostrich-printed leather for durability. A handmade yellow Fimo button with red accents and brown stitching completes the closure with a thoughtful finishing detail.
The strap is crafted from pigskin in layered chartreuse tones with painted accents in blue, purple, and watermelon. It is backed with felted wool for comfort while wearing.
An interior pocket provides added storage and organization.
Designed for versatility, this bag can be worn crossbody or carried over one shoulder.
