The silhouette is very straight through the body. Marked size Medium, though the current button placement fits closer to an XS–Small. As with many of Pépin’s designs, the buttons may be repositioned to adjust the fit.
A one-of-a-kind 7/8-length coat by Québec designer Réjean Pépin.
Crafted from exceptionally soft suede, this piece features hand-splattered black paint applied by the artist, giving the surface subtle movement and depth. All detailing is kept in black, creating a cohesive, graphic finish.
The buttons are handmade from leather, with buttonholes lined in black leather for reinforcement. Suede patch pockets are backed with performance fabric for added structure and durability. The collar is finished in washable performance fibre — a practical choice designed to handle everyday wear.
Sleeves are intentionally cut long and may be rolled to adjust the length, revealing textured leather lining inside the cuff for contrast.
Distinctive materials. Thoughtful construction.
Entirely unique — as with all of Pépin’s work.
Bust width (underarm to underarm laid flat): 19"
Hips width (laid flat): 21.5"
Total length (shoulder to hem): 42"
Sleeve length (approx.): 19"
Sleeve width (laid flat): 9"
Sleeve opening width (laid flat): 6"
Handmade in Quebec, Canada
All of Rejean Pepin's coats are handmade in his atelier in Quebec using new and rescued leather, wool and cotton. He also occasionally uses performance fabric for added weather protection.
