Starflower is a two-inch two-sided resin pendant featuring vintage silk, dried star flowers brushed with chameleon lustre powder, and hand painting embedded in resin. Suspended on a 36-inch adjustable silken cord, it's both art and wearable statement.
Kristine Aickelin is a multidisciplinary jewelry designer and maker with 28 years of experience working across resin, pointed back crystals in epoxy clay, stringing, glass, metal, and collage. Her recent resin explorations have deepened her practice of incorporating drawing, painting, and naturally foraged flowers and shells-often inspired by the gorgeous patterns and colours found in sariKNOTsari silk. Each piece is entirely unique, one-of-a-kind, and handcrafted in Hamilton, with occasional creations made in Barbados.
