Hand-Painted Mauve Leather Messenger Bag by Pepin Designs

A one-of-a-kind messenger bag by Québec designer Réjean Pépin.

This distinctive piece features an asymmetrically cut flap crafted from black ostrich-printed leather. The sculptural shape gives the bag a strong artistic presence while showcasing the rich texture of the leather. The closure is finished with a handmade dark brown leather button, while the buttonhole area is reinforced with dark grey felted wool for durability and contrast.

The flap is attached directly to the body of the bag, allowing the striking front panel to remain the focal point.

The body is made from exceptionally soft hand-painted leather. A mauve base is layered with vivid green accents in an almost electric camouflage-like pattern, creating movement and bold tonal contrast across the surface.

The lower trim is finished in brown leather, coordinating with the brown cowhide base for added structure and durability.

The strap is crafted from grey leather and backed with black felted wool for softness and comfort while wearing.

An interior pocket provides added storage and organization.

Designed for versatility, this bag can be worn crossbody or carried over one shoulder.
