Hand-Painted Water-Resistant Fabric Messenger Bag by Pepin Designs
A one-of-a-kind messenger bag by Québec designer Réjean Pépin.
This distinctive piece features a body made from hand-painted water-resistant fabric in layered tones of brown, multiple greens, bright leaf green, purple, and red. The surface has an atmospheric quality that feels both camouflage-inspired and underwater in movement, making the pattern visually complex and entirely unique.
The flap is constructed from soft black leather embossed and textured to resemble ostrich. Brown leather appliqués reinforce the two buttonholes, adding durability and contrast to the front of the bag. The closures are finished with two handmade yellow Fimo buttons with red accents.
The bag is lined with performance fibre for added practicality and durability. Performance fabric also finishes the lower trim of the bag, contributing lightweight structure.
The strap is crafted from yellow leather with hand-spattered blue paint and backed with black felted wool for comfort while wearing.
An interior pocket provides added storage and organization.
Designed for versatility, this bag can be worn crossbody or carried over one shoulder.
